The Space

With its quirky character, memorable menu, attentive service and city-centre location, The Whippet Inn could be the ideal venue for your next event. We opened in 2014 in a beautiful Grade II building just off the beaten track — high ceilings, exposed brickwork and a heap of original features, with a heated courtyard tucked out the back. Moody colours, a menagerie of quirky trinkets and a proper grown-up atmosphere: a room with a bit of theatre to it, right in the heart of York city centre.

Whether it's a birthday, a company do, a wedding reception or a boardroom lunch, we've a space to suit — and a team who'll look after every last detail so you don't have to.
