We opened our doors in 2014 to inject some theatre, flair and character — and a lot of bloody-good local food and drink — into one of the less-trodden streets in York. What lands on your table is unpretentious food done properly: a seasonal à la carte built around superb, sustainably-sourced beef, plates for the fish-lovers and vegetarians, and a drinks list our team genuinely geek out over.

Our Menu
Our seasonal à la carte changes with what's good and what's local — an ever-evolving line-up of Yorkshire beef, locally-caught fish and proper vegetarian cooking, plus a lighter set lunch and a lazy Sunday roast to round off the weekend.
