Our Wine List & Drinks — York

A cellar with something for every palate and occasion, a cocktail bar that gives the household names a Whippet spin, and local Yorkshire ales and spirits to keep it honest. Everything we pour, in proper crawlable detail — escape the ordinary.

Wine is a bit of an obsession around here. Our list is put together in-house — a sommelier-selected run through the classic regions and the odd off-piste bottle you won't have tried — to suit every palate and every occasion, from a quick glass after work to a proper celebration on the cool, edgy side of the Ouse. And when you fancy something with a bit more theatre, the cocktail bar is right there.

Wines by the glass

You don't have to commit to a whole bottle to drink well. Most of our still wines are poured as a generous 125ml glass, a half bottle or the full bottle, so you can order exactly as much — or as little — as the evening calls for. Not a wine night? We keep a rotating line-up of local Yorkshire ales and craft beers alongside a well-stocked spirits shelf — proper gins, aged rums and single malts. It changes with what's good, so ask the team what's on when you're in.
